The Vitreo-Retinal Clinic
In Nepal, scarcity of specialists, limited resources available for effective vitreo-retinal surgery, and the lack of patient access to timely ophthalmic care, had resulted in a high instance of vitreo-retinal problems. The Vitreo-Retinal Clinic at the TIO has the necessary infrastructure, trained personnel and the capacity to handle a large number of patients suffering from retinal problems. The TEC has been performing Vitreo retinal surgery since year 2000.
