What does a new patient need to get treatment in the hospital?
First of all, the patient needs to come into the hospital in the morning and get a coupon from the reception to register for treatment. Only 125 tickets are distributed for new patients each morning.
Once you receive the coupon, you can register with you name, age, and address at the medical record counter. You will be instructed to go to the doctor for an eye examination and advised accordingly based on the treatment you need after you complete the registration form.
What time should I come to the hospital to get a coupon and what time does registration begin?
TEC begins to distribute coupons at 6:00 AM, Sunday through Friday (office days). For those patients who receive coupons, registration is available between 8AM and 12:00 PM. A family member or friend can receive a coupon on behalf of the patient and he/she does not have to be physically present to receive this coupon.
How much does it cost for registration?
The cost of new registration is Rs. 30. Retuning patients pay Rs. 20 for registration and do not need a coupon from the reception for a repeat visit. Returning patients can register directly between 8AM and 12 PM.
How much does it cost for an eye operation at Tilganga? Where can I get information about these costs?
There are many types of operations performed at Tilganga. A counselor in the center will advise you about the exact cost of the operation if you need one.
