Partnership Project Development Workshop

The Fred Hollows Foundation (FHF), a global partner in blindness prevention and control is a long-standing partner of the Nepal Eye Program-Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (NEP-TIO). NEP-TIO and FHF successfully conducted a Partnership project development workshop from 15th to 18th April 2024. The workshop agreed on scaling and expanding IPEC implementation at the National level and increasing Refractive error coverage and cataract surgical coverage. Workshop conducted in the valuable presence of the CEO of TIO Dr. Reeta Gurung accompanied by the COO, CFO, managers, and department heads from the Hospital, Operation Theater, Training, Retina, Quality, Outreach, and Project Management unit. The workshop outlined the prioritization of strategic achievements to be made by the project in the next five years, sessions and prioritization were governed by the values and principles of the NEP-TIO and aligned with the FHF Global Strategy 2025-29.
